Trick-or-treating hours
Bay County, Walton County and the cities of Panama City Beach and Panama City have not published official trick-or-treat hours for 2026. Neighborhood trick-or-treating happens on the evening of Saturday, October 31. Check your HOA or community page for local plans.
Summerwood Halloween Festivities (Tonight, Oct 31)
Summerwood is celebrating Halloween tonight, October 31, starting at 5:00 PM, with trick-or-treating, food trucks and sweet treats.
Come hungry. The food truck lineup includes Back Porch BBQ (BBQ sandwiches, brisket, pulled pork, loaded nachos and banana pudding), Liquid Sunshine and Cuisine (paninis, cheeseburgers, specialty lemonades, dirty sodas and Halloween drinks), VV's Stuff'd & Loaded (loaded baked potatoes, BBQ nachos, Philly cheesesteaks, loaded mac and cheese and hibachi rice bowls) and Oh So Juicy Café (waffle pops, cinnamon roll waffles, Italian ice, lemonades and hot chocolate).
Parking: the common-area spaces are saved for the food trucks, so use your driveway or park on the street. Please stay off the grass and leave room for driveways and emergency access.
Drivers, slow down, watch for kids and put the phone down. The HOA will document speeders and report them to Panama City Beach police.
Bars and Nightlife (21+ unless noted)

Check before you go
Plans change, and weather can move outdoor events. Confirm times, tickets and parking on each organizer's page before you head out. Daylight Saving Time ends at 1 AM Sunday, November 1, so clocks fall back an hour during the late Halloween parties. Drivers, slow down in neighborhoods and along Front Beach Road and 30A on Halloween evening, and give kids a flashlight or glow stick so they stay easy to see.
