An event weekend is a useful time to explore a neighborhood on foot and try the drive to places you would use regularly. If you are considering a purchase, visit again outside the event to compare traffic, parking and noise.
For a primary home, second home or rental property, look beyond proximity to the venue. Beach access, HOA fees, insurance, building condition and rental restrictions all deserve a closer look. An event calendar alone does not establish a property’s rental income potential.
